The cellarmaster who created the cognac known as Pierre Ferrand Ancestrale, Grande Champagne has long since been dead, but his legacy lives on in this 70-year-old cognac, prized by connoisseurs. It is produced with a base of eaux-de-vie from barrels from the 1927, 1928, 1930 harvests.
