2008 La Posta Malbec Angel Pallucci Vineyard
ST89, "Bright medium ruby. Ripe, slightly reduced aromas of plum and pepper. Sweet, silky and very ripe, with a distinctly chocolatey character. Not as complex as the Pizzella malbec but boasts sound vinosity and more obvious sweetness. Finishes with dusty, slightly drying tannins. This is from old, low-yielding vines in a warm site southeast of Agrelo, while the Angel Paulucci is from the cooler La Consulta area."
